After adding the outdoor living area at Linnaeus we couldn’t stop there. With an open invitation to put our design skills to work on building anything we wanted in the garden, we jumped at the chance. Using materials that are imported exclusively by Tulsa Brick Works we put together an arch that combines many layers in design and material. With the blessing of the Helmerich family we added a memorial plaque to honor one of the gardens most loyal contributors and dear friends, Walt Helmerich. When the need for a raised planter arose, we brought in another rare material, our volcanic basalt. This style planter adds the look of weathered wood with the the durability of stone.
